New Republican leadership in Congress is required to make the necessary changes in Washington, DC to accomplish these goals. We must work together to keep the government responding to the needs of the people and not the other way around. Fresh, new leadership with ties to the Republican Party is necessary to strengthen African-Americans and other minority communities.
